ADR takes up the following activities, as soon as the need arises:
- Filing Public Interest Litigations (PILs) for better governance.
- Conducting Election Watch activities through out the country, when they are held.
- Conducting workshops and conferences at national level to share experiences on conducting Election Watch programmes.
Objectives
Electoral reforms, Right to information and greater transparency of those in power,
Empowerment of the ordinary citizen and Reform of the government and bureaucracy.
To further our efforts in these areas, we will work with the Government, Courts, the Election Commission, Political Parties, Elected Representatives, Candidates contesting elections, the Press, Media, Citizens and other Organizations.
