From April 23rd to April 26th, 2024, Jharkhand Election Watch organised an online essay competition for students from various colleges on the topic- "Hum Vote Karenge" (We Will Vote). This event aimed to foster awareness and enthusiasm among young voters about the importance of their vote in shaping democracy's future. Students from colleges across Jharkhand, including Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Marwari College Ranchi, Doranda College, Jharkhand Rai University, Central University, YBN University, Ranchi Women's College, and Kalyani University, passionately engaged with civic issues through their essays.

More than 200 participants took part in the competition, sharing their essays through virtual platforms as it was held online. The judges, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Pal, Mrs. Chandoshree Thakur, and Prof. Mithilesh, evaluated the essays on several parameters: authenticity, originality, logical coherence, and presentation. The awards were given on 26th April 2024 during a voter awareness event organised by Jharkhand Election Watch.
