ADR collaborated as an Academic Partner with the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi, for their Second Edition of “Vidhan – The Policy Triathlon”, a national-level public policy competition aimed at fostering interdisciplinary engagement with governance, law, economics, and public administration. Gaurav Kumar Mandal, ADR's Campus Ambassador from NUSRL Ranchi, is facilitating the collaboration for the event on behalf of ADR.
Scheduled on 22 February 2026 at the IIM Ranchi campus, Vidhan 2026 was conducted at IIM Ranchi.
The 2026 edition witnessed significant growth in scale, receiving over 200 registrations from students across India. Participants represented premier institutions, including IIMs, National Law Universities, IITs, NITs, and several reputed private universities. Following a rigorous two-stage evaluation process, 11 teams were shortlisted as national finalists and presented
their policy frameworks before an expert jury in the final round.
The valedictory session was graced by Shri Deepak Prakash, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. The session was also addressed by Deepak Srivastava, Director, IIM Ranchi, and Utkarsh Verma, Assistant Professor, National University of Study and
Research in Law, Ranchi.
In the final results, the team from Indian Institute of Management Shillong secured the first prize, the team from NUSRL Ranchi secured the second prize, and Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, secured the third prize.
