A report by public watchdog Association for Democratic Reforms has highlighted that the donations above ₹20,000 to major political parties has seen a major dip this fiscal year.

A drop over 80% has been observed in political donations this financial year, raising questions with respect to transparency in political funding.

In light of the issue, Clyde Crasto, Spokesperson, NCP, said, “If every citizen of the country is ready to go cashless than why not political parties.”
