Of the 78 ministers in the Cabinet, 42% have declared criminal cases against them, and four have cases related to attempted murder, according to a report by the polling authority group ADR.

On Wednesday, as many as 15 new ministers and 28 state ministers took office, bringing the power of the Council of Ministers to 78.

Of all the ministers analyzed, 33 (42 percent) have declared criminal proceedings against them, the Democratic Reform Association said citing their poll affidavits.

Approximately 24 or 31% of ministers have declared serious criminal cases, including cases related to murder, attempted murder, robbery, and more.

Kuchibeher member Nisis Pramanic, appointed Minister of the Interior, has declared an incident related to the murder of himself (IPC Section-302). At the age of 35, he is also the youngest minister in the cabinet.

Four ministers have declared cases related to attempted murder (IPC section-307). They are-John Barra, Pramanic, Pankaji Choudhry, V Muralidaran.

Of the ministers analyzed, 70 (90 percent) are Chlorepatis, with an average wealth of 16.24 Renault per minister.

Four ministers have declared assets of more than 50 rupees. They are Jyotiraditya Scindia, Piyush Goyal, Narayan Tatu Rane and Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
