A report has come out regarding the property of the MLAs of the country. The report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) claimed that the richest MLA has assets worth more than Rs 1,400 crore, while one MLA from West Bengal does not have even Rs 2,000.

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has reached the top in the list of richest legislators in the country. According to the ADR report, Congress state president Shivakumar has assets worth more than 1,413 crores. Along with this, the surprising thing is that out of 20 richest MLAs of the country, 12 are from Karnataka.

The second and third richest MLAs are also from Karnataka. The richest independent MLA and businessman KH Puttaswamy Gowda is on the other side. He has assets worth Rs 1,267 crore. Congress MLA Priya Krishna is at number three with assets of Rs 1,156 crore.
