ADR collaborated with The Debating Society, SRCC as the Knowledge Partner for the second edition of Crossfire – The Annual Schools’ Debate of SRCC which was held on 18th September 2022 in an online mode to provide a platform for open discourse among the school students. the debate was judged by Ms Shelly Mahajan, Sr Program Associate (Political Party Watch) at ADR.

The competition witnessed the participation of over 60+ selected students, from various institutions across the world such as Shri Ram School- Aravalli, DPS Noida, St. Xavier’s College- Kolkata, and Kendriya Vidyalaya among many others.

The event, through its format of turncoat debating, was able to highlight the importance of looking at both sides and hearing both opinions of any discussion before making a stance. Additionally, through individual feedback given to the participants, the event was not only able to accomplish the vision of deliberation and discourse but also acted as a stepping stone for each participant’s individual growth in public speaking and debating. The event was able to accomplish its purpose of organizing such initiatives at a large scale.
