Ms Shelly Mahajan, Program and Research Officer (PPW) at ADR, spoke at the Human Rights Day event organised by the Global Democracy Coalition (GDC), Counterpart International, Alliance for Vietnam's Democracy and International IDEA. Ms Mahajan highlighted ADR's work on educating voters, defending citizens' right to information, and promoting transparency & accountability in electoral processes at this panel discussion, commemorating 75 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

As a multi-stakeholder coalition that seeks to advance democracy globally, the Global Democracy Coalition includes more than 100 democracy organizations, many of which are working to promote fundamental human rights as proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. ADR has been a member of the GDC since 2021.
