Neeti Reeti, a case study competition

ADR's Campus Ambassador from IIT, Madras (IIT-M), Tejaswini Jagtap, in collaboration with the Public Policy Club of IIT-M, organised Neeti Reeti, a case study competition. 53 Teams from different parts of India participated in the competition. The final five presentations were judged by Mr Jaskirat Singh (Trustee of ADR), Mr. P. Victor Raj (State Coordinator- Tamil Nadu & Puducherry), Prof. Sudarshan Padmanabhan (IIT Madras), and Prof.V.R Muraleedharan (IIT Madras). The following were the prompts:

  1. Prompt 1: Rejuvenating Cauvery: Can technology be used cost-efficiently to revive a polluted river? 
  2. Prompt 2: Preventing Spread of Digital Misinformation through AI: What regulatory framework is required.
  3. Prompt 3: Enhancing Political Transparency: How to hold political parties financially accountable.
  4. Prompt 4: Voter fraudulency: how to overcome booth capturing and other malpractices through technical tools
  5. Prompt 5:  Electoral bonds and transparency: How to protect voters' Right to Know
