 The None of The Above (NOTA) option secured four digit marks in Jogindernagar of Mandi and Shahpur of Kangra districts, as it was pressed for the highest number of times on December 9, in polled in any Assembly election held earlier.
The Election Watch Dog, Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) said in the election count analysis that highest votes of 162 votes were polled in Jogindernagar constituency of Mandi district, while Shahpur of Kangra registered 1010 polls in favour of NOTA.
Lowest votes polled for NOTA were in Lahaul Spiti, where 70 people exercised the option. There are four (6 per cent) constituencies in the state Assembly Elections, where NOTA votes were more than the margin of victory. 
NOTA figures on third position in some of the Assembly segments, which in others, it stood at fourth and fifth positions, the ADR data claimed.
However NOTA succeeded to many security fore-fitters as the vote share in the state of Himachal was 0.90 per cent and 1.80 per cent in Gujarat.
