It is no secret that the major regional parties in the South Indian states have deep pockets. In a new list that was prepared to determine the richest regional parties in India, Telugu states parties BRS and YCP came comfortably in top 5 positions.
BRS stands second on the list of the richest regional parties in India with Rs 476 crores funds.
The comes Jagan’s YSRCP which has funds amounting to Rs 456 crores. The Jagan led party is ranked 4th on the list.
Tamil Nadu’s DMK comes third on the list with Rs 475 crores funds. The topper of the list is BJD with funds amounting to Rs 692 crores.
Maharashtra’s Shivsena has funds amounting to Rs 267 crores while Kejriwal’s AAP has funds of Rs 169 crores.
Telugu Desam Party, which has the biggest subscriber base for any party in the Telugu states, has funds amounting to Rs 168.67 crores.
