Talk on Importance of Voting
Ahead of National Voters' Day and Delhi Elections 2020, Maj Gen Anil Verma (Retd) (Head of ADR & National Election Watch) was invited to deliver a talk on Importance of Voting in Kamala Nehru College, New Delhi, on 23rd January 2020. The talk was organised by the NSS team of the college which was attended by 50 students.
Following the talk, a Volunteer Training Workshop was conducted by Nandini Raj (Program Associate- Communications, ADR) for students interested in volunteering for Delhi Elections 2020. The volunteers will distribute Delhi Factsheet containing information of current MLAs, duties of voters, what is NOTA, the importance of informed voting etc. Volunteers will speak to the people at public places in different areas of Delhi.
