Kapil Sibal and Mahabal Mishra from the Congress and Meenakshi Lekhi from the BJP are the richest candidates in the fray in Delhi.

While Sibal, a former Cabinet Minister, has declared average assets of ₹114 crore, Mishra and Lekhi have declared assets of ₹38 crore and ₹34 crore, respectively.

In fact, all seven Congress and BJP candidates are crorepatis, says an analysis by Association of Democratic reforms (ADR) of the self-declared affidavits submitted to the Election Commission.

Six out of seven AAP candidates, four out of five Trinamool candidates and three out of seven BSP candidates have also declared assets of over ₹1 crore.

The average assets per candidate in Delhi is ₹3.09 crore, with seven candidates each of Congress, BJP and AAP declaring average assets of ₹28.29 crore, ₹12.60 crore and ₹3.01 crore, respectively.

There are a total of 150 candidates in the fray for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

Voting will be held here on April 10.
