While Hemant Soren, Chief Minister and Executive President of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party, has declared total assets worth over Rs 25 crore, BJP state chief Babu Lal Marandi has declared total assets of Rs one crore.
Jharkhand candidates with highest assets: The richest candidate contesting in the Jharkhand elections, Aquil Akhtar, has declared assets worth over Rs 402 crore, according to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). While Hemant Soren, Chief Minister and Executive President of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party, has declared total assets worth over Rs 25 crore, BJP state chief Babu Lal Marandi has declared total assets of Rs one crore. Elections to the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly are being held in two phases – November 13 and November 20. Results will be announced on November 23.

-JMM candidate Hemant Soren contesting from ST-reserved Barhait Assembly constituency in Sahebganj district has declared assets worth over Rs 25 crore.
-JMM candidate from Ranchi Mahua Maji has declared assets worth over Rs 3 crore.
-BJP candidate Champai Soren contesting from ST-reserved Seraikella constituency has declared assets worth over Rs 3 crore.
-Congress candidate Ajoy Kumar contesting from Jamshedpur East in East Singhbhum district has declared assets worth Rs over 43 crore.
-Congress candidate Rameshwar Oraon contesting from Lohardaga seat has declared assets worth Rs 42 crore.
-Congress candidate from Jamshedpur West Banna Gupta district declared assets worth over Rs 6 crore.
-BJP candidate from Jamtara Assembly seat Sita Soren, who is also the sister in-law of Hemant Soren, has declared assets worth over Rs 8 crore.
