1. Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh
As per a joint report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is the wealthiest CM in the country. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader has declared assets worth over Rs 931 crore, which includes Rs 810 crore in movable assets and Rs 121 crore in immovable property.
2. Pema Khandu, Arunachal Pradesh
Following him on the list is Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His total declared assets stand at Rs 332 crore, with Rs 165 crore in movable assets and Rs 167 crore in immovable property, making his portfolio almost evenly balanced.
3. Siddaramaiah, Karnataka
Next is Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah from the Congress party. His total assets are valued at Rs 51 crore, consisting of Rs 21 crore in movable assets and Rs 30 crore in immovable property.
4. Neiphiu Rio, Nagaland
Nagaland’s Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, takes the fourth spot with about Rs 46.95 crore in declared assets.
5. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh
In fifth place is Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of the BJP. His declared assets are valued at Rs 42.05 crore, while his liabilities amount to Rs 8.55 crore.
