43 MLAs of bjp have spent an average of Rs 1.82 lakh on star campaigners, 19 MLAs of congress have spent an average of 72 thousand, and two BSP MLAs have spent an average of Rs 16.50 thousand. bjp has spent above five lakhs, congress MLAs above four lakhs, BSP MLAs above three lakhs, and Independent MLAs above four lakhs on campaign material.

Pithoragarh mla Mayukh Mehar spent the most in the election, while mangalore mla Sarwat Karim Ansari spent the least. bjp MLAs have spent more in elections than congress, while BSP MLAs have spent the least. Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has released a report on the election expenditure of 65 MLAs of the state for 2022.

According to the report, 43 bjp MLAs stood first, 19 congress MLAs second, and two BSP MLAs third in spending along with star campaigners. 43 MLAs of bjp have spent an average of Rs 1.82 lakh on star campaigners, 19 MLAs of congress have spent an average of 72 thousand, and two BSP MLAs have spent an average of Rs 16.50 thousand.

Without star campaigners, 43 bjp MLAs spent an average of Rs 5.50 lakh on meetings, and processions, congress MLAs on an average of Rs 3.40 lakh, BSP MLAs an average of Rs 1.72 lakh, and independent MLAs an average of Rs 1.91 lakh. bjp has spent above five lakhs, congress MLAs above four lakhs, BSP MLAs above three lakhs, and Independent MLAs above four lakhs on campaign material.
