The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) clarified that their recent report on voter data discrepancies in the Lok Sabha elections differs from a report by Vote For Democracy (VFD). ADR emphasized that their findings were misquoted by media, which erroneously linked them with VFD's conclusions about the ruling NDA.
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has refuted claims that its recent report on voter data discrepancies in the Lok Sabha elections aligns with those made by Vote For Democracy (VFD).

In a statement released on Monday, ADR clarified that their report never suggested that discrepancies between initial and final voter turnout figures benefited the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The organization asserted that certain media outlets had misquoted their findings and may have unknowingly attributed VFD's results to ADR.

Sources indicated that a press conference held by ADR after VFD's report was released possibly contributed to the spread of 'ongoing false narratives'. The ADR continues to express concern over the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and voter turnout data. The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition to revert to using ballot papers, citing that it would create unnecessary confusion among voters during an ongoing electoral process.
