New Delhi: The second phase of elections in the country will begin on 9th April in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalya, Mizoram and Nagaland. A total of 37candidates will be contesting for the 5 Lok Sabha constituencies.
A detailed report released by National Election Watch (NEW) and Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) details the educational, financial and criminal background of all the 37 candidates based on their self-sworn affidavits.
Criminal Cases
Out of the total of 37 candidates contesting from the 5 Lok Sabha constituencies one has declared a criminal case against him. One Sebu Kechu, who is contesting as an independent from Arunachal Pradesh constituency, has declared a criminal case against himself for damaging Rs. 50 note.
